MediTouch LegTutor™
With the launch of the LegTutor in 2011 MediTouch now offers motion feedback rehabilitation systems for the lower extremity. The LegTutor allows for evaluation and virtual functional task training exercises based on the 3D position of the hip and the extension and flexion of the knee. When combined with the 3DTutor, positioned on the ankle, the LegTutor system evaluates and treats the whole lower extremity by providing multijoint virtual functional task exercises of the hip, knee and ankle.
MediTouch has developed optical and image processing technology that precisely determines the position and speed of motion of both single and multijoints. Together with clinical knowhow from the fields of occupational and physical therapy , MediTouch has developed rehabilitation platforms that use active exercises and biofeedback to improve patient's lower and upper extremity functional movement ability.
